How to Get a Nevada Plumber License

  1. Meet the minimum experience requirements:
    • Journeyman:
      • Have 4 years in a state registered accredited apprenticeship OR
      • 8,000 hours of substantiated experience in the plumbing trade
    • Master:
      • Have a valid NBOPE Nevada Journeyman Plumber license for 1 year (or 2,000 hours)
  2. Complete and submit an application for certification
  3. Wait for approval
  4. Take and pass your exam
